This is the inaugural season of the NFBC SLOW DRAFT - not run by NFBC. (This nickname in no way is meant to indicate we are endorsed by or affiliated with NFBC.) We are using their rules. Nothing else.
RULES:
This league will be a 15 team Rotisserie Baseball League hosted on CBS SPORTSLINE.
Each team will participate in a slow draft which will be 50 rounds in a serpentine fashion(SNAKE DRAFT)
Upon completion of the draft, all teams are locked and there will be no free agent moves and no trading allowed. The 50 players you drafted will account for all stats on your roster for the duration of 2013 MLB Season.
Weekly Deadlines: You will be allowed to set you lineup for the week, each week no later than the first game starting on Monday. If we can find a site that allows this, you will also be allowed to modify some or all of your lineup on Friday, before the start of the first game.
Draft pick order: Once all teams are established and entry fee paid, we will use a random order generator online to produce the pick order. This will not be the draft order - this will be the pick order. So the person who receives pick 1, will then be allowed to decide where he picks in the first round. The person who receives pick two will then pick where he picks in round one, etc through the whole fifteen personnel.

There are no in-season moves in the Slow Draft DC format: What you pick on Draft Day is what you have to work with during the entire season.
Trades Between Managers -- To minimize the possibility of collusion, there will be no trading allowed.

There is a 1000 innings pitched minimum requirement for this league, but no minimum requirement for the number of starting pitchers or relief pitchers on each roster. Should any team not reach the required limit of 1000 innings pitched by the end of the season, the rankings will be altered to show that team getting 1 point in both ERA and WHIP. No other teams will switch positions in the standings, but the team that didn't reach the minimum IP will automatically earn 1 point in ERA and WHIP.

All players must have played 20 games in 2012 or 10 games during the 2013 season to qualify at a certain position. Minor-leaguers who did not play 20 games at any position in 2012 but who still played at least one game in the majors last year, will qualify at the position they played the most at in the majors in 2012. Additional eligibility guidelines can be found in Section 9. If a player returns from retirement or rehab after missing the previous year, his position eligibility will be based on his previous year's eligibility.
NOTE- Some stats sites such as yahoo do not allow you to edit the positions played requirements from previous season for positional eligibility. If we decide to go with yahoo (for example) then we would be forced to use their position eligibility which is a little different.

Commish cant change that.

Have you found a site that allows roster modifications mid-week? Not being able to change for 7 days is a drag.
Agree on Martinez.
